EHS Professional

Partners, an established environmental, safety, engineering and surveying firm that has been in business for over 20 years and works across the US and globally, is looking for a full-time candidate to fill a position in support of its Client for the management of EHS matters at a new acquisition. The Client is a multi-national, Ohio-based corporation that recently completed an acquisition in SE Pennsylvania.

There are various environmental and safety issues to be managed during the integration of this acquisition and the Client has requested that Partners provide a full-time resource that will report directly to the Client’s Corporate EHS Manager. This resource should be located in proximity to the facility, so that they can be present on-site for periodic needs. However, the candidate may work remotely and does not need to work from the facility or the Client’s office.

This position is anticipated with Partners for six (6) months, after which the role may be transitioned to a full time EHS position for the Client at this facility or with Partners. The position includes full benefits, consistent with Partners’ standard policies and the salary will be commensurate with the experience and capabilities of the candidate.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of corporate or consulting firm EHS management experience, undergraduate and graduate degrees in applicable disciplines, applicable professional certifications and be more strongly on the environmental compliance and remediation side, but also with a safety background. Experience with the State of Pennsylvania ACT 2 program and Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) regulations, Title V air permitting, and Superfund is desired. Project management strength for multi-faceted tasks, precise organizational skills and clear verbal communication skills in negotiations and group settings are critical minimum standards. The ability to work effectively with corporate professionals both in the EHS and business departments of the Client, legal teams, regulators, and consultants is a must.
