Dan B. Brown founded Partners in 1999 in Cleveland, Ohio. At that time, Brownfields and environmental due diligence in transactions were emerging fields and there was a demand for consultants who understood that work. Partners was at the forefront of this new area of environmental consulting and has been growing ever since.

“This 20-year milestone is a testament to our exceptional employees and the great client partnerships they have developed, which have sustained and fueled our growth over the past 20-years”, said Brown.

Dan recalls occupying a nondescript former doctor’s office in Solon, Ohio as their first office. He tells the story about how his desk was the former lobby and Gloria Eidan, his first employee, sat on the other side of a glass-sliding window and the two would exchange messages through the window. From those humble beginnings, with three employees, Partners now employs over 45 professionals in 7 offices in five states and has serviced over 2,500 client-led projects.

Dan explains the name Partners, is an outgrowth of the company’s mission, which is “to provide the resources to solve our clients’ needs and to be a Partner with our clients, where they can count on us when our services are needed.”

Giving Back

To commemorate this important occasion, Partners celebrated their anniversary over a series of weekend events in July, starting with an all employee community “give-back” team building activity. “Our entire team, including staff from our out-of-state offices, gathered at the new offices of West Creek Conservancy and supported construction of trails, stormwater features, rain

gardens and other outdoor features for this green, sustainable development that will be open to the public,” said Brown. Dan went on to say, “At Partners, we are not only committed to helping our Clients, but we also believe in helping our community by giving back”. Partners believes that giving back is an essential core value and an integral part of how they operate the company.

Celebrating

The weekend culminated with a festive dinner celebration at The Cleveland Museum of Natural History, where Partners’ staff and guests toured the nearly 100-year-old museum and enjoyed a fabulous gourmet meal from famed chef Zack Bruell. Many of our team were honored for their years of dedicated service and we reminisced about the accomplishments of the firm over 20 years.
