In response to a Corporate mandate, Partners’ personnel were retained to conduct program-level EHS audits at critical suppliers and external manufacturers encompassing 23 sites in the United States, Great Britain, Scotland, France, Spain, Germany, Finland, Switzerland, and Japan for a worldwide manufacturer of diagnostic products. Audit topics included conventional environmental, safety and occupational health compliance as well as Corporate global initiatives such as prohibition of child labor. Partners’ personnel developed audit protocols and auditor guidance, and directed its extensive in-country resource network to provide knowledgeable, bilingual auditors in each jurisdiction. Partners’ staff were responsible for normalization of deliverables, compilation of findings, and tracking of corrective action plans for sites with observed deficiencies. Sites were assigned a color-coded ranking (green / yellow / red) indicating suitability for future use as well as frequency of follow-up audits. Partners’ staff have also conducted environmental compliance auditing at domestic manufacturing sites in New York, New Jersey, and Florida in accordance with ISO14001 requirements, and assisted sites in compliance and environmental management systems assignments including air and water permitting, spill planning, RCRA / EPCRA reporting, pollution prevention and environmental aspect / impact review.
